8 [00:08:48] <woenx> (by using ssh-copy-id)
9 [00:08:54] <b1ackandwh1te> in windows uEFI hardware is better run debian in VM or dualboot?... see, I want to know if the grub bootloader may mess the windows recovery.
10 [00:09:01] <greycat> you need a way to write to the authorized_keys file. by any means.

24 [00:16:41] <sney> b1ackandwh1te: dual boot is always possible, if you don't mind tinkering with it once in a while. super easy if you have 2 disks and can keep windows and debian physically separate. grub won't mess with windows recovery, but windows will periodically overwrite grub if it has access to the disk where grub lives

29 [00:20:07] <sney> b1ackandwh1te: debian 10 has full support for uefi and secure boot, so you don't need to disable those, unless you have a buggy efi (uncommon after 2015). and finally, don't worry about saying "windows" in here, #debian volunteers are adults and it's not 2004 anymore. :)
30 [00:20:31] <b1ackandwh1te> my will is to allow always the OSs see the real hardware, to avoid reduce the performance of OS and more hardware greedy software like games.

1812 [19:40:56] <Brigo> Howie69, i am a bit rusty, but i think you are using the bridge wrong. If you want to connect some different ip networks in the same machine, you don't need (don't eve have sense to use) a bridge, you just need some route, ip forwarding and some netfilter rules (configuring the forwarding)

2244 [23:10:45] <mutante> aLLamox: when you make a SSH connection.. the client and the server have to agree what type of encryption to use... what happens here is that the server is configured to use something really old that is really insecure. So old and insecure that your client does not even try it anymore.. so they can't agree and the connection fails. The fix you found is that you are telling your client "no, i really mean
2245 [23:10:51] <mutante> it, i know what I'm doing, use the old shit". And that works.. but.. the much better fix would be to stop using that and update the config of the server and the server itself.
2246 [23:11:27] <mutante> so the next question is what that ssh server ist,, if you can edit its config and update the version of it
