[00:38:14] <JerryS> Hi, all. I have a Lenovo E15 I'm trying to get Debian to work on. So far I've gotten the wirelss adapter going by loading from backports.
[00:40:23] <JerryS> Debian was installed on the SATA drive. During install it recognized the second SSD drive but after installation it doesn't recognize it.
[00:40:45] <JerryS> Does anyone have any ideas on this?
[00:40:46] <sney> doesn't recognize? or isn't mounted?
[00:41:37] <JerryS> sney Doesn't recognize it.
[00:41:55] <sney> how have you determined this? what are you trying to do, etc

[00:45:56] <sney> if it's not in /dev and you can't see it with lsblk, fdisk -l, etc, then it's not detected by the kernel. for a disk, the most likely reason is a bad connection, as even a defective disk will usually still get a /dev node.
[00:46:39] <sney> check dmesg output for disk failures, then shut down the computer and re-seat your sata and power connector on that second disk.
