122 [01:16:30] <dD_> sney: yes, and the error I'm getting is not the same error I'd get if the file didn't exist. I'm guessing the no such file or directory is an error that comes from the executable
123 [01:16:35] <sney> you don't need to do anything with apt to run a 32-bit x86 binary on a 64-bit system

131 [01:20:35] <dD_> not a script file with some binary stuff
132 [01:20:46] <dD_> perhaps the "no such file or directory" comes from not finding the dependencies?
133 [01:20:52] <sney> that's why we did ldd
134 [01:21:07] <sney> but if it's not a script and it's not dynamic, then it should be statically compiled with everything it needs

923 [12:24:36] <otisolsen70> I have just upgraded from Debian 9 to Debian 10. After upgrade apache2 will not start. It is likely something in my config. So I have tried doing "mv /etc/apache2 /etc/apache2-bak" and then did "apt reinstall apache2" in order to get a new clean config that just works. Then I can merge in my changes. But it still fails to start. Complaining that it cannot find /etc/apache2/apache2.conf. How do I restore this?

2031 [23:51:17] <|aaron_> Hey all. So i'm in a situation where I need to use a on-prem debian mirror (Artifactory) but Acquire-By-Hash isn't enabled in the repo metadata. I'm working on getting that fixed, but in the meantime shouldn't I be able to just 'rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists && apt-get clean && apt-get update' to work around hash sum mismatches? That does the tricky on my jessie boxes, but not on stretch?
