I keep getting the error. on that jessie box that I'm running `apt-get update`, the only two keys that show up as expired in `apt-key list` are two wheezy-related keys and the identifier doesn't match.

326 [04:36:58] <randompleb> uh sorry I don't understand
327 [04:37:22] <nvz> "doesn't work" is vague an unhelpful for support purposes just like taking polls of if anyone has done things..
328 [04:38:05] <nvz> bridging network atapters in a VM typically means creating a bridge between a host and guest interface whereby the guest interface accesses the host network directly

332 [04:40:49] <nvz> doing it using git would be complicated and involve a checkout afaik.. the simpler option is to clone to a new dir and then just use your local commands (mv) to merge/cobber them

334 [04:41:18] <randompleb> Yes, but the ebtables method is technically a "MAC NAT" as they call it. I have little experience regarding this. What the debian wiki method does is change the outgoing packets (originating from the VM) MAC address to the same as the wlan interface.
335 [04:41:34] <skyliner_369> my google-fu is aweful and I'm staring at the manual. I know the regular clone won't touch a dir that has literally anything in it, so I'm wondering if clone can be told basically "Yes there are files here. if the filenames match, just clobber them."
336 [04:42:33] <nvz> skyliner_369: I re-iterate.. sure it can be done with a slew of complex git commands in proper order..

364 [04:50:15] <nvz> but if that doesnt matter to you.. take the simple road :P
365 [04:51:06] <nvz> in other words if the time/disk space/bandwidth of a full clone every time this runs isnt an issue, then its far simpler approach

865 [11:46:35] <ratrace> jomofcw: I don't know any specific tutorials, you can ask google. But I'd recommend go with unbound, it's easiest of them all to set up. Just be careful, you'll have to override how your system is resolving domains (via /etc/resolv.conf which may involve other files depending on how your resolving is set up)

1149 [16:05:59] <dpkg> Fully Automatic Installation (FAI) is an automated tool to install or deploy Debian (and other distributions) on a bunch of different hosts or a cluster. 1330 [18:28:03] <jmcnaught> obiwahn: from what I understand LVM is still using the same mdraid code in the background. What you should check into is if you can do all operations you want to be able to do on the LVM RAID volumes.
1331 [18:28:21] <jmcnaught> obiwahn: for example, can you snapshot them? Can they be resized? I can't remember those details.

2072 [23:57:51] <greycat> Sure. If the socket closes, then it'll end there as well, but then you won't get back the URL.
2073 [23:58:19] <CaptainShell> oh of course!
2074 [23:59:04] <CaptainShell> Now isn't there some possibly not always used feature of TCP that lets the remote socket send data after the other end requests the socket to close?
2075 [23:59:19] <CaptainShell> So the URL must be given at the beginning of the paste!
