[13:04:06] <oxek> imho all apps that rely on internet services should always be at the latest version still supported by original developer. Just like debian does it with firefox-esr, they moved onto the newer one instead of keeping the ancient one.

[23:34:56] <trek00> dvs: the first screen is syslinux, no kernel loaded
[23:35:06] <dvs> ah, my mistake
[23:35:09] <mbnt> dvs, Can you please send me the link as to how to do that, please and thanks.
[23:35:13] <kreyren> trek00, tried that but /var/cache/apt/archives/partial does not seem to be available during the prebuild
[23:35:21] <kreyren> create it and then use it?

[23:37:34] <trek00> kreyren: i think chown -R user:user / have same security and less glitches

[23:38:09] <trek00> kreyren: you already do chmod g+s ? (not +w)
[23:38:17] <kreyren> chown -R user:user / is not an option (security layer overwrites it)
[23:38:36] <kreyren> why chmod g+s ?
[23:39:11] <trek00> kreyren: so the files created under this directory gets the apt group
