129 [01:33:36] <cyberbootje> Hi, i have a question about mem usage, i have a machine with debian and i am using an LSI raid controller, have 64G of ram and 32G swap. When i do an frio write or copy some heavy files the ram will "fill up" to the point it starts using swap, not a lot and maybe 1MB to 300MB. If i have a look at free -h i can see that ram is mostly buff/cached and actually most of it should be free. I do have swappiness set to 0 but this still happens,
130 [01:33:36] <cyberbootje> now i don't mind having the ram full with buffered data but i do wonder why it uses swap, anyone a clue?
